Orchard Montessori Program
We provide in home learning environment and offer Montessori education for children ages from 2 1/2 to 6 years. The Mission of our Montessori program is to provide children with the opportunity to acquire knowledge through the educational philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori. We intend to promote an educational atmosphere that encourages children to be independent, self sufficient and productive members of a global society. It is the place where each child who comes here are respected for the individual that they are.
About Us
Orchard Montessori is a home based preschool located in Quince Orchard Park Community. I have my Montessori Diploma (AMS) from an accredited school in Maryland, and I have several years experience working as a Montessori teacher in private schools.My passion is to work with kids so I completely changed my home to a Montessori environment which you need to check it out. Montessori environment offers children the opportunity to develop at their own rate, expanding their knowledge from concrete, hands-on experiences to the next stage in their cognitive development, which involves more abstract thinking. As a teacher I provide appropriate lessons to support each child’s individual growth, interests and capabilities. The academic materials presented are designed to stimulate a child’s senses as well as to respond to his or her need for order and sense of mastery within the world. The curriculum covers Practical life, Sensorial, Math, Language, Social Studies and Science. In addition to our standard academic program we also have our Enrichment program that includes Spanish, Art and Music. We also have our community playground for the kids to play.

- My children have had the pleasure of being Miss Anitha's student during their preschool years at a Montessori school. Miss Anitha is an excellent teacher with a calm friendly nature. She has good communication skills with both students and parents. She has the the ability to pay equal attention to all her students. Miss Anitha has provided my children with both a strong educational foundation and sense of independence and leadership qualities. With her tutelage my children learned to read, write, add, and subtract before entering kindergarten. They are currently in elementary school, and have been place in reading and math levels 1 plus years over their current grade level. They also learned to do basic daily tasks such as put on their own shoes and jackets, fill up their water cups and sleep without fuss. My children and I owe a great deal to Miss Anitha, and I highly recommend her to any parent interested in having an excellent Montessori teacher. - I highly recommend Anitha’s newly opened school anyone that has kids the ages between 2 to 6. Anitha is a great Montessori teacher who has a great deal of experience accumulated in private schools in this area. She is a reliable wonderful teacher with a great heart. Anitha put tremendous effort to turn her home to Montessori environment which you need to check it out. Everyting is set up in a very organized way that will stimulate the learnings for younger kids in a home based ambiance.
